Duties will include school pick ups and taking the younger 2 to activities, cooking for the family and some light housekeeping duties for eg family laundry (excluding underwear) and general tidying - the family does have a cleaner who does the ironing as well as the cleaning. Ideally, the family are looking for a Spanish speaker but this is not essential for the right candidate. The successful candidate must have an enhanced DBS and ideally be on the update service and have recently completed a paediatric first aid course. There are 3 children 7, 5 and 2 years old (the 2 older are boys and the youngest is a girl). Monday, Wednesday and Thursday definite hours are 3.00-7.00pm but the family could offer more hours so the nanny could start from 12.00 midday -7.00pm. Duties will include picking up from nursery and school, if the longer hours the little girl will need to be collected from nursery taken home, then there is a short time whilst she sleeps to fold clothes and to any nursery duties that need to be done also to prepare food for when the boys are collected from school. There may be some after school activities to take them to, and then when home to give the children something to eat and to start the bed time routine before the mother returns from work. Other duties to include helping with homework and making sure that everything is ready for the next day at school/nursery.

The temporary nanny must be able to drive and ideally have her own car (there may be a car available but again this is to be confirmed). The nanny will be required to work full days (for the 3 days) during the school holidays about 8 weeks per year and this would be from 8.00am -7.00pm.
