W8, Kensington. Live out and full time nanny required to look after a 3 year old girl and a 5 year old boy, there is also baby due in December so baby experience is essential.
Monday - Friday 7.45/8.00am - 6.00/6.30pm (approx 50 hours per week) with a degree of flexibility (may be occasionally asked to stay a bit later and likewise may be allowed to leave earlier occasionally). The nanny must be happy to become part of the family and to notice when something needs doing and do it without being asked and being able to use initiative as well as being able to take instruction and at the same time being comfortable in following routines and discipline. Tidying up at the end of the day and making sure that everything is ready for the next day is essential, as well as all typical nursery duties including cooking for the children. The ideal candidate should be friendly. extremely patient, soft, fun, bubbly and easy going and must have excellent English and be able to help with homework (teaching experience valued) Must enjoy getting down and playing with the children and making their life fun at the same time as being able to challenge them with age appropriate activities. Must be able to organise playdates for the children, help with homework, school runs (walking distance).The position is shared care with the mother (there may be a maternity nurse when the baby is born) and sometimes the nanny will look after the 1 or 2 of the children and the mother will look after the other. The Nanny must be happy to be left with all 3 children at a later stage having the experience with the different age groups to be able to do this. The nanny should be able to demonstrate both a "can do" attitude with a positive approach to life, thriving in keeping the children needs at heart without compromising on safety.
The nanny may be asked to accompany the family on holidays from time to time. There will be occasionally baby sitting required in the evenings.
Salary circa £12.00-13.00 net per hour, Start ASAP but can wait for the right candidate (ref# 4862)
