If live out this could be for the hours and days mentioned or could be for 2 or 3 full days if preferred. The nanny should be a confident cook and happy cooking from scratch and perhaps making enough for the parents to heat up later from time to time. Duties to include all childcare and nursery duties plus some light housekeeping work (including family laundry) when the youngest is asleep. The children are in a good routine and thrive on this. The oldest child is at school and there are lots of local activities that the nanny can take the youngest to in the mornings. The nanny must be organised, able to use initiative and be able to provide fun and age related activities for the children. The family are seeking an experienced nanny to work on a full time basis. Must be able to provide a warm, loving and safe environment. Must be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with and support the parents The total hours are equivalent to c.5 days per week, but spread flexibly - including babysitting in evening and part working at weekends. The little girl goes to nursery each morning until 11.30 am, the nanny will collect her (the mother usually takes her but you may be required to do this occasionally). There are local activities and classes that the nanny could go to with the little boy during this time. The family do not need a nanny who can drive. They would like the nanny to have fluent English. Both children enjoy swimming (so a confident swimmer would be advantageous), and the little girl goes to ballet classes.

The suitable applicant MUST be organised, energetic, and fun whilst at the same time being firm but fair and must also have excellent spoken English. Monday - Friday 7.00 7.30pm. The Nanny / House keeper will be expected to travel with the family from time to time, they also have a home in Scotland. The nanny / house keeper could go home most weekends. There will be some proxy parenting as both parents travel for work and lead very full on lives.
