 The successful candidate will be confident, energetic and sociable who will be able to help the mother with her transition back to work (part time from April and full time from September).  Must be experienced and be able to help settle the oldest into primary school and care for the twins during the day. The role will include typical nanny duties including taking the eldest to school, taking care of the children’s meals, doing the children’s laundry, tidying up after the children, taking the twins to playgroups, organising playdates and supporting with weaning and potty training. There is the opportunity if the nanny wants to,  to occasionally  join the family on holiday and go with them to their property in Oxfordshire.  Very occasionally it might be necessary for the nanny to be happy to proxy parent for a short time if both the parents have to be away for work.  Must have a cheerful, positive and helpful attitude with excellent communication skills and want to become part of the family supporting the parents in creating a fun and relaxed environment.  Hours are 7.30-7.00pm Monday to Friday and they offer an early finish on Friday if that is of interest to the nanny. Please note that the family employ a cleaner. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of new-born babies, with the relevant qualifications, and have proven track record of similar positions and be able to support and help the parents negotiate the first few months. Please note that there is a bed in the baby’s room for night time and a separate bedroom/bathroom on own floor for daytime. This position starts 15th April 2024.

After the first few months the family will then employ a permanent live-in nanny. There is the possibility that the maternity nurse stays on with mutual agreement or the family will seek new candidates (full time live in, 5 or 6 days per week).
