The successful candidate will speak fluent German (this is a must as the children will be spoken to in German when at home). Typical nursery duties including cooking for the children, hand cleaning bottles for 1 year old, tidying the children’s room and play room, laundry and ironing for the children. Must be warm, loving and genuinely enjoy working with children, with a professional and organised approach. Must be kind and empathetic but also be able to create strong boundaries and be able to liaise with the parents. Must be an excellent communicator. A background working in a nursery or kindergarten helpful but not essential as long as the nanny can show a good knowledge of early years development. Must be happy to help create weekly menus that are nutritious and healthy. The children attend various local classes so must be happy to take to these and give the parents feedback on how they are going.
