Full time, live in.  11 month old baby girl, sole charge.  The family are seeking an organised, warm, fun and professional nanny for a very happy baby.  Standard nursery duties required (including washing of baby’s clothes and bedding, taking baby to playgroups etc.). The family employ a cleaner once a week. There are lots of fun things to do and nice places to go in the area. Maintaining established sleep routines and good nutrition are very important. Ability to cook from scratch required.

Parents work full time, but one parent would always be getting the baby up and putting her to bed (unless agreed in advance), so hours are likely to be around 50 per week (typically 8:30am-6:30pm Monday to Friday but to be confirmed), plus one night babysitting (usually a Wednesday or Thursday). The family have no pets and do not require a driver. Accommodation provided is a newly refurbished large double room overlooking the garden, and use of a large newly refurbished family bathroom (there is a second bathroom in the house that mum and dad will also use).   • Taking the son to school

W2, Notting Hill.  Family are seeking a live out or live in nanny to care for their two children aged 3 and 1 on a sole charge basis. The successful candidate will speak fluent German (this is a must as the children will be spoken to in German when at home).  Typical nursery duties including cooking for the children, hand cleaning bottles for 1 year old, tidying the children’s room and play room, laundry and ironing for the children. Must be warm, loving and genuinely enjoy working with children, with a professional and organised approach.  Must be kind and empathetic but also be able to create strong boundaries and be able to liaise with the parents.  Must be an excellent communicator.  A background working in a nursery or kindergarten helpful but not essential as long as the nanny can show a good knowledge of early years development.  Must be happy to help create weekly menus that are nutritious and healthy.  The children attend various local classes so must be happy to take to these and give the parents feedback on how they are going. Suggestions about new or different activities are welcome, as is proactively finding German play groups and organizing play dates with other nannies. Must be able to provide stimulating and educational activities within the home and outside it, limiting screen time etc.  If the nanny was happy to accompany the family on holidays (mainly to Germany, Austria and USA) that would be a plus.  Must be willing to occasionally babysit on an ad hoc basis.
