*Our sponsorship for Paediatric First Aid courses and Enhanced DBS Disclosures is contingent upon a nanny being offered a permanent position by a London Nanny Agency client and remaining in the position for a minimum of 8 weeks.  We also ask that the agency fee is over £500.00.  Otherwise, the nanny will be billed accordingly.  If we have placed a temporary nanny or a nanny in a position where the agency fee is below £500.00 we can arrange for them to complete an enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid at a discounted rate

  • Yes, we personally check nanny references. This gives us a chance to ask the difficult questions and to establish whether the family recommend the nanny and also if they are happy to talk to a future employer themselves.

  • Once we have established you have a minimum of two years relevant experience and have checkable references we interview you and discuss your CV with you. We make sure you have a right to work, arrange and pay for a DBS if necessary. We also give advice and guidance on nanny insurance.

  • This is dependent on experience and qualifications but a rough guide for a nanny in London is £17-25 gross per hour for live out nannies, £600-900 gross per week for full time live in and £20-25 gross plus per hour for temporary placements.

  • Yes, we do offer temporary nanny work (short-term / emergency / holiday cover). You will be paid for the days/hours you work and we arrange this directly with the family. The family pays the agency fee, so there is no registration fee for you.

  • It can take as little as 2-3 days if it is urgent but depends on the requirements, location, your experience, etc. If the family needs an enhanced DBS updating or needs you to complete a paediatric first aid course this can mean it takes longer.
