SE3, Blackheath. Temporary, part time nanny required for 6 month old baby. The family are seeking an experienced and confident nanny who has cared for babies of this age, and is happy to support baby led weaning. This is a sole charge position with parents working from home in a separate area of the house.

Nursery duties including ensuring the areas the baby is in are clean, comfortable and safe at all times and there is a happy and secure environment. Must be able to provide suitable activities, taking into account milestones and development and be able to maintain the established routine. Must be happy to prepare food for the baby.

The successful candidate will have an up to date enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service), an up to date paediatric first aid certificate and excellent checkable references. The family are interested in both employed and self employed candidates.

Salary IRO £21-23 gross per hour.

There is flexibility on the hours but roughly Monday to Friday 2pm-5pm. It could be 4 days if a candidate preferred this.

Temporary Nanny – EN5, Barnet (URGENT)

A professional family based in Barnet (EN5) is seeking an experienced Temporary Nanny to assist while the mother recovers from an injury. The position involves caring for three children, aged 6(g), 3(b), and 1 years old (b), all typical nursery duties plus the willingness to help with some general family housekeeping and light cooking.

The successful candidate will be OFSTED registered, ideally self-employed, and available to commence employment immediately. Ideally the family are looking for someone who has SEN experience as the 3 year old is non verbal, but this is not essential. Candidates must be comfortable working in a household with pets, including a dog, a cat, and chickens.

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality care for three children (ages 6, 3, and 1)
Managing general housekeeping duties
Assisting with family meals and light cooking
Supporting the children with age-appropriate activities (crafts, outdoor play, painting, playdoh, water play etc.)

Role Details:

Hours: 6 hours per day (flexible at this stage), 3 days per week (ideally a Monday and a Friday plus one other day)
Rate: £20–£25 gross per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: Approximately 3 months
