A professional family based in Barnet (EN5) is seeking an experienced Temporary Nanny to assist while the mother recovers from an injury. The position involves caring for three children, aged 6(g), 3(b), and 1 years old (b), all typical nursery duties plus the willingness to help with some general family housekeeping and light cooking. 

The successful candidate will be OFSTED registered, ideally self-employed, and available to commence employment immediately. Ideally the family are looking for someone who has SEN experience as the 3 year old is non verbal, but this is not essential. Candidates must be comfortable working in a household with pets, including a dog, a cat, and chickens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care for three children (ages 6, 3, and 1)

  • Managing general housekeeping duties

  • Assisting with family meals and light cooking

  • Supporting the children with age-appropriate activities (crafts, outdoor play, painting, playdoh, water play etc.)

Role Details:

  • Hours: 6 hours per day (flexible at this stage), 3 days per week (ideally a Monday and a Friday plus one other day)

Must have a good knowledge of milestones and development. Childcare duties only but must be organised and tidy. Duties include collecting from pre school (they do not need a driver). Hastingleigh, village near Ashford, Kent (North Downs).  Family with seven year old are seeking a live out nanny/housekeeper to help on a part time basis (three days per week, 2pm-6.30pm plus babysitting but these hours could be extended for the right candidate and will be increased during the school holidays).  The parents both work in media/PR and it is a lively, energetic and friendly household.  The successful candidate will be able to care for the little girl, doing after school pick-up (approx. 15 mins away), prepare nutritious and appealing meals for her (batch cooking would be helpful), help clean the house and process child’s laundry etc.  There is the possibility of additional PA duties if interested but not essential.  There is also the opportunity to travel with the family in holiday time if this is of interest, but again not essential.  A car will be provided for use during working hours (applicants must be a confident driver with a clean driving licence).  The successful candidate will be responsible, reliable and able to work with initiative on a sole charge basis, demonstrating excellent communication skills with a warm and sensible attitude, building up a rapport with the child and parents.  Start ASAP.  Hourly rate c. £20 gross per hour.  SE21, Dulwich / Herne Hill.  4 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00-6.00/6.30pm, live out nanny required for a family with two children (2.4 months and 4 months old). 

 

They are seeking an experienced, qualified, kind and confident nanny with a sensible and mature approach who has cared for these age groups before and is able to provide a safe, secure and happy environment, working as part of the family and be able to commit to the position.

 

This is a sole charge position from Spring 26 (the mother is currently on maternity leave).  

 

Nursery duties including full care of both children, food prep (and grocery shopping) for the children, keeping the children’s areas in the house clean and tidy, making appointments for the children and ensuring their possessions and clothes are looked after etc., personal care of children (haircuts, etc.), plus being happy to source and arrange appropriate activities within the home and outside (incl. play dates).  Duties also include drop-off / pick up of toddler from kindergarden. 

 

Must be an excellent communicator, be able to liaise with the parents, has a strong understanding of age-appropriate developmental milestones and who is familiar with/willing to learn about allergies.  Please note that the family do have a cleaner once a week (who also helps with clothes ironing).  

 

They are looking for someone who has a degree of flexibility and is able to help out/babysit if the parents may have to work a slightly longer day.

 The successful candidate will be able to provide excellent proven references and show longevity and commitment in previous positions.

Hours are 8am-6.00/6.30pm x4 days a week.

Greenwich, SE London.  Experienced live out nanny required to care for two children aged 5 and 2.  The family are seeking a very caring, reliable, punctual nanny with excellent proven experience who will be able to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children, liaising with the parents and ensuring the children are well cared for at all times.  Hours are preferably 7.30am-11am and then again 3/5pm-7.45pm Monday to Friday.  However if interested it is possible for these hours to be adjusted.  Nursery duties including few light housework and  being able to cook simple and nutritious family meals.  The family are seeking candidates who live locally.
