Duties to include all typical nursery duties, childcare and school/nursery runs, cooking from scratch for the children. The family do have a housekeeper but the nanny will be required to help with nursery duties and making sure that all child areas are clean and tidy any the end of the day.

The family are young, and professional. Whilst professionals, the family is informal, warm and loving. They are keen to welcome a nanny who is looking for a long-term role and is a good match. They are looking for someone with a genuine love for young children and integrity, who is reliable and has excellent references. The family like to eat organic foods. They  lead a healthy and active lifestyle and prefer the children to play and to use their imagination rather than watching TV. They love being outside and are close to Hampstead Heath. The girls enjoy arts and crafts as well as swimming and tennis. The nanny should be able to encourage learning through age related play and being able to encourage their imagination through imaginative play.

The youngest will start nursery in September, the hours will remain the same and the nanny will then be able to do some batch cooking etc and may be asked to run some errands for the family. The school/nursery is about 20 minutes walk from the home.

The family are looking for someone who lives locally, knows the area and has a professional attitude, being punctual and on time is essential. The mother is Swedish so if the applicant can speak Swedish this would be an added bonus but is by no means essential.

The family live 5 minutes walk from Hampstead Station.

A professional family based in Barnet (EN5) is seeking an experienced Temporary Nanny to assist while the mother recovers from an injury. The position involves caring for three children, aged 6(g), 3(b), and 1 years old (b), all typical nursery duties plus the willingness to help with some general family housekeeping and light cooking. 

The successful candidate will be OFSTED registered, ideally self-employed, and available to commence employment immediately. Ideally the family are looking for someone who has SEN experience as the 3 year old is non verbal, but this is not essential. Candidates must be comfortable working in a household with pets, including a dog, a cat, and chickens.
