Monday - Friday 8.00am-5.00pm (flexible on both ends of the day) (these will be the contracted hours. The children go to nursery from 9.00-3.00 each day so the nanny will be taking the children (nursery a 20 minute walk away) and then to come home and tidy up and get things ready for the afternoon and to start on the nursery duties, during the day the nanny must be available in case the children are ill or on holiday but there will most likely be some free time. At 3.00 pm to collect the children from nursery bring them home and give them some food and have a fun filled play time. The family are looking to move house in about 3 months time to the Kingston Upon Thames area so this can be a position until they move (December) OR can be long term if the nanny is happy to travel to where they move to. The family are flexible and will fit in with the nanny and would expect the nanny to be flexible with them. If the nanny can drive this would be an advantage but is not essential. Fluent English is a must. The father works form home, and the children understand and accept that he is not to be disturbed. During the school term, time spent at home with the children will only be approximately 1.5 hours in the afternoon. The nanny must be able to provide suitable age related activities for the children both at home and out and about during the school holidays at the same time as being fun and able to encourage their learning etc.

1. Live out and full time to include household admin tasks- the hours that the Nanny / Housekeeper would work would be  7.15/7.30  - 7.00pm.  On a Monday and Friday the days could start at 11.00am (this is flexible so to be agreed) and on a Friday could finish at 6.00pm. Duties to include:

  • Making sure that the children have had breakfast and are ready for school

  • Taking to school (same drop off in the morning but different pick up locations).

  • During the day when they are at school there will be various household jobs to do eg. cooking for the children, and perhaps preparing food for the parents, taking items to dry cleaners, doing the household grocery shopping as well as all typical nursery duties etc.

  • Light house work

  • laundry for the family.

  • Picking the children up from school and after school clubs from their respective schools at either 3.45 or 5.00pm and giving them tea

  • Helping with homework

  • Making sure that everything is ready for school the next day

  • Bed time routines.

  • Making sure that everything is clean and tidy at the end of the day.

Salary £12.00 net  per hour Start end of August / beginning of September.

 

 

2. Part time nanny for afternoons only starting from 3.00pm-7.15pm Monday - Friday during term time and full time during the holidays (7:15am – 7pm). 

  • Picking the children up from school and after school clubs at either 3.45 or 5.00pm from their respective schools and giving them tea

  • Making sure that everything is ready for school the next day

  • Bed time routines
