SE3, Blackheath.  Temporary, part time nanny required for 6 month old baby.  The family are seeking an experienced and confident nanny who has cared for babies of this age, and is happy to support baby led weaning.  This is a sole charge position with parents working from home in a separate area of the house.

Nursery duties including ensuring the areas the baby is in are clean, comfortable and safe at all times and there is a happy and secure environment.  Must be able to provide suitable activities, taking into account milestones and development and be able to maintain the established routine.  Must be happy to prepare food for the baby. 

The successful candidate will have an up to date enhanced DBS (preferably on the update service), an up to date paediatric first aid certificate and excellent checkable references.  The family are interested in both employed and self employed candidates. 

Salary IRO £21-23 gross per hour. 

There is flexibility on the hours but roughly Monday to Friday 2pm-5pm.  It could be 4 days if a candidate preferred this.

This is a temporary position prior to the family moving and is expected to last 3-5 months.  (ref# 5487)

The family are seeking an experienced and confident nanny who is able to engage with and take care of the child in a safe, secure and positive environment. They are seeking someone who is able to take initiative, sourcing and arranging stimulating activities within the home and outside, encouraging play and learning, building on what has been experienced at preschool. Must have a good knowledge of milestones and development. Childcare duties only but must be organised and tidy. Duties include collecting from pre school (they do not need a driver). Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 12.15-6.00/6.15. There is the possibility of working on Wednesday if needed and there will be occasional Fridays and ad hoc work by separate arrangement.

Hastingleigh, village near Ashford, Kent (North Downs).  Family with seven year old are seeking a live out nanny/housekeeper to help on a part time basis (three days per week, 2pm-6.30pm plus babysitting but these hours could be extended for the right candidate and will be increased during the school holidays).  The parents both work in media/PR and it is a lively, energetic and friendly household.  The successful candidate will be able to care for the little girl, doing after school pick-up (approx. 15 mins away), prepare nutritious and appealing meals for her (batch cooking would be helpful), help clean the house and process child’s laundry etc.  There is the possibility of additional PA duties if interested but not essential.  There is also the opportunity to travel with the family in holiday time if this is of interest, but again not essential.  A car will be provided for use during working hours (applicants must be a confident driver with a clean driving licence).  The successful candidate will be responsible, reliable and able to work with initiative on a sole charge basis, demonstrating excellent communication skills with a warm and sensible attitude, building up a rapport with the child and parents.  Start ASAP.  Hourly rate c. £20 gross per hour.
